These awards recognize outstanding achievement in marketing and communications, affirming the impact of clear strategy, stakeholder alignment, and measurable outcomes in advancing FMCSAās safety mission.
Strategic Communications for FMCSA Safety and Data Initiatives

I developed strategic communications plans* for two major FMCSA initiatives: the MC-R PMO and A&I Online. These efforts supported FMCSAās mission to improve roadway safety through data-driven decision-making, operational transparency, and targeted stakeholder engagement.
For the MC-R PMO, I created a comprehensive communications strategy to position the Program Management Office as a formal, high-impact function within FMCSA. I led stakeholder segmentation, developed SMART goals, and built tactics to improve internal awareness, streamline communication processes, and strengthen partnerships with DOT, Congress, and academic institutions.
For A&I Online, I built a plain-language strategy to boost awareness and usage of FMCSAās safety data tools. The plan engaged internal staff, state partners, researchers, and the publicāemphasizing the platformās role in reducing crashes and informing safer commercial motor vehicle policy.
Both plans focused on clarity, consistency, and measurable impactāensuring FMCSA communications aligned with safety goals and empowered stakeholders to take action.
